I recently stayed at a lodge in a quiet, scenic setting and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The lodge was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The fully equipped kitchen was a pleasant surprise and the quality mattress ensured a great night's sleep. The tasteful décor and proximity to Jedburgh added to the overall experience. The hosts were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed. The location offered beautiful walks and plenty of places to visit nearby. I highly recommend this lodge for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

The Spinney Lodge in Jedburgh was such a cozy haven! Our room had not one, but two bathrooms—a bath or shower in one and a separate shower in the other! As a couple who loves to unwind with long soaks, having two options was pure luxury. We felt pampered and spoiled the entire time!
The only thing we liked less was that the shower in one of the bathrooms was a bit cramped. But hey, that's just our personal preference, others might not mind it at all.

From the moment we stepped into the lodge, I was blown away by how clean, comfy, and well-equipped it was. The kitchen had a full-size cooker, microwave, and even a small dishwasher, making our stay super convenient. The quality mattress ensured a jaw-droppingly good night's sleep, and the tasteful decor added an extra touch of style. The location was surprisingly quiet, yet just a short drive away from the town. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with everything we needed. Plus, being in a remote spot didn't feel lonely at all, as their company was always nearby. I would definitely recommend this place for the beautiful walks, stunning surroundings, and dog-friendly facilities. The little extras, like milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, and washing up liquid. The lodge's sunny verandah and chairs were perfect for enjoying the peaceful rural setting, with frequent visits from deer and a variety of birds. The adjoining fenced meadow allowed our dog to play safely, and the gate on the deck gave us peace of mind. The cleanliness was spot on, and the personal welcome made us feel right at home. our stay was superb, and I wish we could have stayed even longer!
